DAY 1 - Ps Jo Geerling

Today we are starting 14 Days of Devotion. In other words, we're setting apart the next two weeks to really devote ourselves to God before Revival Nights, to get into prayer, to get into the word. So we want you to stay tuned to our Instagram posts of our Devotions from the team but also join us for prayer meetings throughout the next few weeks, which you'll see promoted here as well.

But I would encourage you today from Acts chapter two, as we kickstart these 14 Days of Devotion, I just want to read to you right now from Acts 2:42. What it says is;

"They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching, and to fellowship and to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Everyone was filled with awe at the many wonders and science performed by the apostles. And all the believers were together and had everything in common. They sold property and possessions to give to anyone who had need and every day they continue to meet together in the temple courts, they broke bread in their homes, and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to the number daily, those who are being saved.”

Such a powerful passage of scripture from the book of Acts, I want to encourage you, it starts very simply, this whole passage, in this first verse in verse 42, they devoted themselves. And I want to encourage you as we start 14 Days of Devotion, it starts with us. It starts with a desire within us to put God first, to seek Him, to make time for him, to make room for him in our lives. So can I encourage you, why don't you devote yourselves in this season? Don't wait for someone else. Why don't you make a decision to get devoted to God? So consider your prayer opportunities. Come and join us as we pray together corporately, but also, in your own time, set time aside to really get into God's word and into His presence.

We're believing we're gonna see something significant at Revival Nights but it comes from us devoting ourselves, taking an opportunity to say, you know what, how can I devote myself more to God in this season than I had before? So I encourage you, it's going to be a powerful season but let's devote ourselves.

Bless you guys.

Ps Jo Geerling.
