ENCOUNTER KIDS CONFERENCE runs alongside our main sessions for children aged 12 months to Grade 6.

Thursday and Friday Evening Sessions
Come in pyjamas for a sleepy-time play!
Play Time ~ Praise and worship ~ Story time ~ Small snack ~ Quiet play and sleep for those that are able.
Bring: water bottle, small snack (clearly labelled)
Saturday AM Sessions
Outside play including Old MacDonalds Farm visit with lots of cuddly animals
Morning Tea (parents provided)
Rest time/Quiet Play
Bring: water bottle, morning tea, hat, change of clothes (in case soiled in outdoor play) Please don’t wear best clothes!

Snacks: Please bring a small snack for each session. As there are multiple sessions on the Saturday, we are requesting snacks are able to be separated so that not everything is consumed in the first sesion (especially if you are packing lunch for after the session also). We will have brown paper and snap lock bags available to separate if necessary.

What to Expect

Check-in opens 30 minutes before each session
Meet in the Team in the Enc Kids foyer
Head to the Kids Check-In Desk to:
•sign your child/children in
* print name labels
* use label to also label water bottle & lunchbox (if needed)
Parent pick-up pass is a sticker - hang on to it!
We’ll direct you to your child’s age group room
For younger children, hand over clearly labelled snacks & water bottles at check-in

Toilet-trained kids: Use designated children-only toilets within our Kids Church area
Nappy changes: Parents will be texted if needed. Change facilities available in the disabled toilet nearby.

1–5 years: Bring clearly labelled snacks for each session (separate Sat AM/PM snacks if possible)
Grades 1–6: No snack break during PM sessions
Nut-Free Policy: iSEE Kids is strictly nut-free
Medication: Parents may attend to administer medication during the session.

Bring your sticker for checkout. Collect youngest child first.

On Arrival
For each and every session we will require you to check your child into conference. Check in opens 30 mins prior to the start of each session.
Simply proceed to the Encounter Kids check in desk where you will collect a printed parent sticker and name tag for your child, and opportunity to label any personal items that may require identification. Please keep your sticker for identifying your child at pick up time.For younger children, we will collect water bottles and clearly labelled snacks at this point for distribution at appropriate times.
We will then direct you to the correct room for your child. There are designated spaces for bags at the room. Say goodbye and go get yourself a great seat in the auditorium!

Toileting
For independent children, we have designated children-only toilets located within our kids church area.
We do not change nappies. If your child requires a nappy change, we will send you a text message to attend to your child’s needs. Change facilities are available in the disabled toilet located opposite the entrance to Kids Church.

Pick-up
Pick up at Kids Encounter will be coordinated from the Kids Foyer for ages 1 year - Grade 2 and through the doors of the chapel for older primary age (Grades 3-6). We ask that if you have children in multiple age groups, please pick up younger children first.
Don’t forget to bring your parent sticker to show your check-out screen to our team. -
In general, no. iSEE Kids Encounter is designed so that kids can be looked after and have an incredible age-based conference experience while their parents are free to enjoy all that Encounter Conference.

We do expect that some children may become a little upset, especially if they are new to this location. We have a brilliant team of iSEE Kids Church members that are used to bringing particular care in these situations. Rest assured that we will contact you if they are unable to settle.

Kids Encounter is for all children. We have a number of activities for kids that may need some extra support. Please let us know if there are specific things that you would like us to know about your child. We want them to have the best time.
If there are personal items that are beneficial for them (headphones, special toys etc) please bring them with you, clearly labelled.

Please inform us of any allergies or relevant medical conditions - this is part of the registration process. iSEE Kids is a nut-free facility.

You are welcome to come to attend to your child if they require the administration of medication.
