Bubble Fun at Music Morning!
No child is invisible and everyone is welcome!
Our iSEE Erina location is a vibrant and diverse centre everyday of the week. If you walk in on a Wednesday morning, you’ll be greeted by the sight and sound of happy toddlers and preschoolers as they enjoy a Music Morning Session!
Music Morning is a multi sensory music and movement program - it’s educational, energetic and lots of fun! It’s well attended and very popular.
Earlier this year, we had a beautiful mum and her 4 year old son attend for the very first time. Mum walked in nervously but the son was all smiles! You see, the son is physically disabled (unable to walk or stand unaided) and is non-verbal. Mum explained that she had tried many activities prior to coming along to Music Morning, even groups that were aimed at children with physical and cognitive needs, but she’d never found anything that was right for her son.
For the duration of the session, this little boy was smiling from ear to ear! He shook maracas; he twirled ribbons; he popped bubbles; he had lots of fun engaging in every element of the session. Mum was crying happy tears by the end and was so thankful that she’d been courageous and brought him along. She expressed how she’d never been to a group that was so inclusive and so multi ability in its approach.
This mum and little boy are now regular faces at Music Morning and Messy Monday, our sensory messy play session - and she’s even going to give Tumble Tots a try, our new gross motor and coordination session. Mum says they've never felt so accepted or included and she's incredibly grateful that they found us because (in her words) we offer more than she ever hoped to find!
